Horse Barrel Racing

The 'South West Fuels' Horse Barrel Racing Competition will be held at the Barellan Showgrounds on Saturday 23rd February from 8.00am.
Event entry fee $30pp
- $25 Registration plus
- $5 Sport Levy
Each person will complete a run with the course route to be in the shape of the normal three barrels.
Participants will be judged upon their ability to complete the course the quickest and without knocking any barrels over.
If a barrel is knocked over, a time penalty of three (3) secs will be imposed per barrel.
Rules and rulings are taken from the Australian Team Roping Association.
The Committee reserves the right to change the above in communication to all participants on the day.
